The SECULIFE IF PRO is the most compact, fully

The new test system with patent pending is driven by
a stepper motor and permits continuous monitoring
of the flow of liquid without any need for stopping
and intermittent cleaning. This provides the infusion
pump under test with a more realistic flow path, thus
resulting in more accurate measured values.
The independent stepper motor controller for the
new ceramic valves not only makes it possible for
the system to run more quietly and smoothly, it also
permits the propulsion of fluid in both directions
during the cleaning cycle.
The SECULIFE IF PRO is equipped with integrated
auto-sequence functions which make it possible
for the user to execute automated test procedures.
This makes it possible to perform the specific test
routines stipulated by various manufacturers, which
saves a great deal of time and reduces the risk of
human error.
IEC 60601-2-24 not only sets forth special requirements for flow rates, but rather for back pressure
simulation, bolus measurements (PCA) and for
checking occlusion pressure as well. All of these
requirements have been implemented as features in
the SECULIFE IF PRO and can be easily selected via
the on-screen menu.
The SECULIFE IF PRO is laid out for up to 4
SECULIFE IF FM flow modules. These modules are
individually serialized and calibrated so that they can
be moved from channel to channel, and even from
unit to unit. After installation, they’re recognized by
the SECULIFE IF PRO and the serial number, as well
as NIST traceable calibration information, appear at
the display and are used in all data reports.
The interchangeable modules provide users with
unprecedented flexibility within their infusion pump
test systems. In the event of calibration, there’s no
need to suspend testing – only the flow modules
have to be calibrated.
The same applies to servicing. If there’s a problem
with any given channel, only the affected module
needs to be repaired, thus avoiding downtime.
